  Quite silly obviously, and fun on the surface level, but it also made me weirdly sad because this is such a textured and lived-in love letter to a kind of goofy 2D hand-drawn animation style that definitely isn't getting feature funding anymore, even in this exciting current time for animation where less-conventional styles are being explored. Like, no one is making something like The Aristocats now...except John Musker, and he is cramming as much of that energy as possible into just three minutes here! There's something very admirable about that, and I'm hoping this being tacked onto the Oscar Shorts program will put it in front of enough eyes to get some momentum going for more projects like this, just silly slapstick animation that can really go wild to make you laugh.
