Meu pai amado, que bombinha…
Shit. Not even a short movie. Just trying their new camera.
Looking for some queer short films to watch, I came across this short on YouTube called In Arms. The synopsis on Letterboxd reads two brothers channel grief in different ways at their mother's funeral. Watching this 10-minute short film, I didn't get that all from In Arms. I didn't even get any queer subtext unless it's the two attractive white brother's comforting one another on a dirty bathroom floor? Did I miss something?
At first, I thought this was set in a school bathroom and not at a funeral as both brother's look like they are in a school uniform of some sort and then towards the end of the story, some random teenage boy who also looks like he…
Didn't want to watch it but also didn't feel like turning it off so here's the log.

pretty good for a debut short, the camera work would have been better though if the camera wasn’t moving in random directions at the slowest speed possible… 🤨🤨🤨🎥🎥🎥 will harrison’s performance was oscar worthy though 🤭🤭🤭🥕🥕🥕🚽🚽🚽👔👔👔
I was searching queer short movies and found this 🕴
oh to eat baby carrots on the bathroom floor as we laugh at someone flushing the toilet
This was okay, a story featuring two brothers comforting each other at their mother's funeral. The interaction between the two was sweet, but there wasn't a hell of a lot to this. Or maybe it was better than I realised, but I just couldn't tell because the sound mixing was so bad I had a choice between not hearing what they said half the time, or having my eardrums explode the other half.
