A relatively painless way to pass 43 minutes, despite the fact that five and a half of those minutes are spent talking about and showing CBT. With its superficial treatment of a wide variety of fetishes, this was essentially the Canadian equivalent of an episode of HBO's Real Sex from the '90s. While it's disappointing that it spends a mere two minutes on the guy who's into rubber -- "not the cheapest kink that you can get into" as he admits -- the fact that we get to watch him suiting up while he talks is much appreciated.
As someone who is drawn to kink, I found this mildly engaging. It helped with getting my mind off of things as I was in a weird mood prior to putting it on, so I can't fault it for that. I just wish that there was more of a focus on the interviewees' experiences and insights instead of the introductory approach to BDSM because unless you're new to it, chances are you will find that there isn't much that you aren't already familiar with. That isn't to say that the educational approach distracts from the interviewees' discoveries of their kinks and reasons as to why they're into play which involves bondage, latex, and genital torture; rather, it provides context for…
