most nostalgic movie ever. watched this at least ten times carpooling to irish dance workshops with the crazy cutthroat oireachtas kids
Watched this a million times and will watch it a million times more. The closest glimpse into the Irish dance world you will ever get. Real people, real dedication, real athleticism. If you are my friend, please watch before you can ever understand me. "Aye, I can. Watch me."
I LOVE JIG
best movie to exist ever on this earth watch it
every irish dancer remembers when this came out
Me when John stands by some trees irish dancing on the grass while all his friends play soccer in the background:
he just like me frfr
im gagged everytime i watch this and ive been watching it since i was 12
My fiancé was and is super into Irish dancing (she was apparently very hyper competitive as a kid and won a bunch) and wanted to watch this. It reminds me of CHEER in that you see these young people do amazing things and then you also realize they’re putting themselves through hell with no REAL upside. There’s no career after this, no prize money for anything, the coaches and parents are brutal and intense, and injuries are second nature. But damn, they cute! It’s a fascinating glimpse into a world I doubt many people really know about.
brogan's calendar having emily osmet's birthday as a crucial event taking place in march was so endearing
Wow wasn't this a warm blanket of a movie.
I was having the need to rewatch Derry Girls by the end.
I'm an Orla if there ever was one.
I admired each and every one of the dancers passion.

The ultimate nostalgia of rewatching this movie in your 20s and remembering when ten year old you had “aye I can, watch me” printed on a poster on your wall
