When you unexpectedly met someone who’s willing to match your freak. To be understood is not to be judged.
I honestly want to know more of Mia’s story and her reasons. And definitely, I’m curious to see what happens next after the ending. A feature-length of this, please.

is somebody gonna match my freak?
It’s remarkable how Sonoya, portraying Mia, could convey so much with minimal dialogue, this short relies mostly on her facial expressions, and it’s SO captivating to watch.
I also loved to see how Josie embraced Mia right away, although she might not understand, she stayed rather than judging or pushing her away. I wish we could see more of their relationship explored, I’m obsessed!
Alyssa, Sonoya and An-Li did a beautiful job bringing their dynamic to life <3
In any depiction of sexual acts or desires, the female gaze is second to none.
freaky yes but good freaky
what the hell, sure
A lovely short film that explores themes on BDSM, isolation and self harm between two women who crossed paths one night at a local bar. We have Sonoya Mizuno as the titular character Mia, a lonely law student who meets An-Li Bogan, portrayed by Josie and instantly get together the moment they locked eyes on each other. It’s amazing how well they played their roles naturally, especially Sonoya Mizuno who utilizes more on facial expressions who brilliantly conveyed every emotions she felt. Adored the bittersweet ending as well. It would be so much better if this is made into a longer film to fully explore on their characters as I am already invested in the trio! More Juliana Canfield screentime too please.
