  I didn’t watch the whole movie…first mottam kandu…second half didn’t pay attention, mostly yt clips il ulathokke thanne.

  I’m a ‘90s kid. I love the ‘90s vibe. But I’m not a fan of the ‘90s films made after Y2K (you know what I mean?). Makal is the Tyrannosaurus Rex of all those accidental ‘90s films. From writing to the making, almost everything about this film screams ‘90s and makes CBI 5 look more chic. It seems as if they had an interesting premise in hand, but lacked the imagination to develop and take it further. It’s as plain and blank as it gets. The writing is sloppy and the overall pacing is sluggish. Performances range from average to below average. Naslen is the star of the show; the kid is definitely going places. 2 hrs 22 mins felt like some 4 hours,…
