The initial concept that kicks off Mop is top tier, but after the first minute it loses hold of its gold premise in favor of becoming another “sneaking around a dead body” comedy and one that really just isn’t funny. The gag of someone accidentally killing someone by simply mopping a floor that their victim ends up slipping on is so good and I wish this short went further with that idea rather than moving away from the main character’s mundane position as a janitor so quickly. Mop really needed to keep that a focus to stay on track I think. Pairing this current lack of focus with the painfully noticeable ADR sound effects though, the whole thing turned out pretty awkward and lifeless in the end. Pun intended, hey oh!

I really like this
Youtube ana sayfama garip kısa filmler çıkıyor.
Just a guy dragging around a dead guy and groaning, not really much of a comedy.
This is why, when I was going through training at Coles, we were told to put up the caution signs before cleaning the floors. Rookie mistake.
what is it that makes the horror/murder/death story formula able to be so easily condensed into a short film? why is that kinda the go-to? it’s just very simple.
I literally watched this just to log it for the movie every day.
It’s alright
Wish we had more mop
I think it was just okay. I really liked the premise though.
How to transform an awkward situation in a boring film.
