Such a soulful lighthearted drama from Radha Mohan, one that wins you over with its simple narration, beautiful heartfelt emotions, rib tickling witty comedies, deep dialogues and strong all round performances. Jyo simply aces the show. It is super fun to catch up Prakash raj in this jolly zone, and along with Prithviraj and Brahmi, they provide some hilarious stretches. Do not miss out on this wholesome entertainer.
‘Iyarkaiyin mozhigal purinthuvidil
Manitharin mozhigal thevai illai
Idhayathin mozhigal purinthuvidil
Manitharku mozhiyae thevai illai….’ 🎼
Adult friendships, romance and bromance portrayed with ease and such clarity. The budding romance between rajuA10 and Jo was wholesome to watch but prakash Raj stole the thunder at the end . Prakash Raj is a menace and he's just hilarious in this movie , everyone did their roles well.
The writing is heartfelt and it translated well on screen and considering the time it came out it's still more relevant and progressive than the movies that come out these days . The director, writing and the music is so good and the movie is so witty that you'll definitely have a good laugh.
RajuA10's best rom com ever but it's not from our language tho . Lots of ihihiihihehehehe by Raju here 🤙. Never knew witnessing rajuA10 running like a mad man was something that was missing in my life . He could've given fafa a tough competition if he tried.
Most memorable Jyothika performances - Mozhi and Kushi. The whole movie is like a soothing breeze that brings in a melodious tune while it blows. I like how it uses the apartment as a stage and continuously brings in the residents one after the other - there will be a funny scene with Brahmanandam and next will be a wholesome scene with Prithviraj putting up with MS Bhaskar's delusion while the relationship between the 4 main characters takes prominence.
It's an understatement when they say, "they don't make movies like this now." The mannerisms of Karthik is timid type, easily shuddering at noises and enjoying music while Archana is bold and is accustomed to the silence. More than a rom-com,…

i'll be real with u chief i think the only issue with this is that light homophobic comedy track that happens. cos if not........ it's honestly perfect idgaf. has aged incredibly well. great set of both cast and characters, and their relationships of friends, romance, family, strangers, in an apartment complex, all happily winding around each other that is fun, wholesome, and heartfelt. you don't get many romance films in tamil where the main chars are actually friends and hang out, getting to know each other over the course of its runtime, while not treating the disabled main out of any misguided pity. archana is her own person, with her own quirks, anger, fear, and karthik genuinely wants to share…
firmly believe if everyone watched this the world would be a better place

man, now i have to cry twice in one day. first after completing baldur's gate three (it only took me four months (!) - i have trouble sticking to a game for so long, especially when other responsibilties get in the way life, school etc., but despite not being able to fully embrace the third act, it was a magical journey and the epilogues were so heartwarming/breaking!), and now after watching this. what a beautifully written commerical romance! there are many aspects of this that impressed me, but i think what separates mozhi apart from the rest (even amongst classics like rhythm which i adore) is the attention to detail in the writing. despite being such a wholesome, light-hearted slice-of-life…
most wholesome tamil film 🙏
''I loved your silence as much as I loved my music''... just a fantastic line..
Peak comfort-movie core.
childhood fully fully flashed in front of my life.
golden days :')
(I'll always be scared of Jyothika from this movie, that horror look sheesh)
There is this incredible scene half way through the film where Karthik, a man with his whole life filled with sound that he’s even a musician for the Tamil film industry, tries to mentally give Archana, a deaf and mute woman since birth, a voice to match her signing. When the scene began I was so ready for Jhotika to do a voice over for the rest of the film but Radha Mohan and his team wrote Archana so well that the act alone of putting someone else’s voice over her own disgusts her.
I was so thankful with the film’s approach and compassion to the deaf community. The continual use of signing throughout the film without subtitling it (which…
