  It’s very problematic for a two hour mystery film to have the mystery solved immediately after it’s introduced about fifteen minutes in. Everything is exactly what it seems and there are no red herrings or misdirection to speak of. This is so bizarre that one keeps expecting there to be a third act reveal, some kind of wild twist that would change the story, because surely this can’t be all there is to it, right? The movie’s slow pacing really exacerbates the problem because for a story this simple and obvious it has no business being so long. This could have been a 45 minute episode of a TV show.   A story dragged out for two hours long, even tho the plot was clear and over after a good 20 minutes. Nice cinematography and solid acting is why you could watch this film.

  This is a pretty bleak and disturbing film about a journalist who has a disabled sister with a history of attempted suicides who finally meets a man who wants to marry her. On her wedding night she is found dead in a pool of blood in the bath she had slit her wrists.

  This sets the tone for this very disturbing thriller there are moments in the film where one does not feel comfortable watching as we fear for the brother's safety as he begins to suspect that there is more to his sister's former husband than meets the eye.
