  Nayan should really start selecting her solo scripts well... Aira, netrikkan, kolaiyudir kaalam... This has become a thriller pattern lately and nothing seem to be working.

  Also, IDK if Deepa Venkat needs Nayan or not, Nayan definitely needs her. That's very visible from the first 10 mns of the film where Nayan just had to lip sync the lecture Deepa delivers and even that isn't helping.

  Hoping for the days Tamil cinema realises female centric films could go beyond thrillers or sympathy fests and say more different stories. The day Tamil Cinema sees a piku or a dear zindagi is when the renaissance of female centric films would truly begin.

  O2 is a survival thriller starring Nayantara and directed by GS Viknesh (do not mistake him for S Vignesh). A bus leaves from Coimbatore to Kochi and is forced to change it’s route due to a traffic jam at the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border and gets trapped under a landslide even before it reaches it’s first stop Palakkad. Nayantara is one of the passengers in the bus and she is accompanied by her son, who has breathing issues and they were on their way to Kochi for his lung treatment. 

  The idea to make a survival thriller set in a bus is good enough for a thriller. We had a film like  Gaganam / Payanam which was set in a plane…

  Could been Indias's reply to Dont breathe/Buried level experience if it was made good but Screenplay & Characters Sucks.
  1 Star just because the director tried to something different rather than others who does same thing over again.Director tried but failed but he will understand his mistake and make better film next time

  Was expecting a different kind of film, something with a different form, but it really uses the most basic and cliched exposition and character.
  As whiny, cringe and terrible it was, it was bearable until the leaf came in. Laziest writing I have ever witnessed, no respect for film whatsoever. I mean a leaf? Drops on a phone to save everyone and CPR can't treat everything!!! The shear laziness and blatant ignorance is mind-boggling.

  O2 isn't that bad but it isn't good either, a very medicore presentation with barely raising any tension though the script being a highly tensed thriller..Inspite of crispy run time the film did dragged a lot & not much to say in performances of any character (including the lead).. The melodrama around the claustrophobic situation isn't being presented well as it after a points dulls n wears out.. Each characters tarit has been told just through dialogues but there is hardly anything to connect with each of them thus it makes further distinct from the film, drug transporting police, wrongly prison served person, MLA, inter religion love, fighting mother & battling child, G S Viknes tries to bring different points but it's only stays ambitious.. (1.75/5)

  Intresting plot but flat screenplay and poor execution . We should really appreciate for trying this kinda survival thriller in Kollywood , but other than good plot they majorly missed a engaging screenplay and execution . Cast performance was decent . Not even single character shined . Poor VFX . Overall watch at your own risk .

  Thrilling Screenplay! This literally gave me vibes/feel of 'Squid Game' as who is going to survive till the end that created a curiosity.

  Predictable but still a one time enjoyable movie.
