Actually you know what.
There's a scene where the psychopath dances to an Elvis song in its entirety so I gotta give this a 10/10 on principle.
Sorry.
men are scary, women r amazing, and this is the most feminist film of the century imho!!

A workaholic woman trapped in a parking garage on Christmas Eve, stalked by a deranged security guard, sounds like a thriller, right? Wrong. This is actually a secret Christmas comedy, starring one of the most dedicated simps in cinematic history.
Our villain, Thomas, is basically Terrifier's long-lost, emotionally needy cousin. Instead of silent, artistic clown horror, he delivers awkward nice-guy energy, a questionable karaoke session, and the ultimate "I did this for you" psycho rant. His master plan? Locking a woman in an underground garage, dressing up like a Reservoir Dogs reject, and hoping for romance.
Meanwhile, our heroine Angela is just trying to get home for the holidays, but no, she has to fight for her life in a…
Listen, if Wes Bentley was stalking you, would you really be that upset? I’m just sayin’.
This fun little holiday themed horror yarn is about a business executive who finds herself trapped in an underground parking lot on Christmas Eve with a psychotic secret admirer. There’s nothing extraordinary about this but I do love a good “cat and mouse” thriller and this one certainly delivers on that. There are several tense chase scenes and I was impressed with the things they were able to come up with given the limited location: multiple levels, stairways, elevators, etc. There are also some unexpected moments of VERY heavy gore that come out of nowhere so that’s always a fun surprise in my book.…

🎄 Merry Christmas! Horror 🎄—💎 Horror Gem #122 (2007)
This is one hell of a feel-good Christmas movie. I feel very perky now and ready for Christmas morning.
I somehow doubt my reaction is entirely normal, but how many of us are entirely normal? After all, this is Letterboxd at 6 AM on Christmas morning. That’s not normal. But we can pretend it is awesome.
I loved P2. It’s festive and sparkly with plenty of Christmas feeling, but the meat of it is a dark and gory cat-and-mouse film written by Alexandre Aja and with the tension and intensity to match.
I was not expecting the level of gore here. I was not expecting much of a body count. And…
P2 is a psychological thriller/horror about a woman who gets trapped in a parking garage on Christmas Eve and has to face off with a creepy individual. Rachel Nichols is fantastic in this—her fear feels so real, you can’t help but get pulled in. The setting does a great job of keeping things tight and tense. But once the villain steps in and we start to learn more about him, the threat starts to lose some of its edge. There are moments when he’s genuinely unsettling, but other times, I wished for more to keep that constant sense of danger. That said, I was surprised by how gory it gets. We love good practical effects. The movie mostly focuses on…

waiter! waiter! give me more movies with final girls covered in blood!
You know what Christmas and Valentine's Day have in common? Yes, you guess that right, deranged individuals whose loneliness consume them to the point they go out in a ramping hunting, preying for a new victim to torture and force their victims to love them forever and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever.....
In regards to this movie, just like the first time I watched on theater back on 2007, it was a very random decision. At the time I had zero idea what was it all about, but I believe I looked at the poster in the big billboard of movies showing at the theater at the time and I just went blind into it. And…
