  La segunda película de Mar Coll sigue la estela de su debut: film pequeño, humilde, de interpretaciones magníficas (qué bien está Nora Navas), del dolor que surge de lo cotidiano. Me gusta cómo introduce el concepto de fuga (idea que volverá a aparecer en SALVE MARÍA). La vida, tras un accidente como el que sufre la protagonista, no podrá ser nunca como antes, se impone la necesidad de cambiar los esquemas (porque se han roto). Notabilísima película, con un sello personal destacable y mucha honestidad.

  Geni (the incomparable Nora Navas) has spent a year recovering from a serious car accident that has left her with a permanent disability, and with the enthusiastic support of her husband, family and friends, particularly her free-thinking Argentine pal Mariana (Valeria Bertucceli), she is slowly trying to return to her routines of work and domestic normalcy. The trouble is, the disillusionment that Geni was feeling about these two key areas of her life before the accident have only become more pronounced in the year she’s had to mull them over, and her ambivalence is causing her to rethink everything she thought she wanted from life. Although all around her are well-meaning, it’s Geni’s make-or-break moment in terms of the woman she’s always wanted to become.

  It’s impossible to take your eyes off of Nora Navas in this film as she delivers one of the truly great performances of the year.

  Qué buena es Mar Coll mostrando determinadas etapas vitales y luchas internas de las personas, así como las relaciones sociales y familiares. Ya con su ópera prima "Tres dias con la familia" demostraba que tenía una gran sensibilidad, y aquí sigue por la misma senda, en un relato quizás más oscuro y solitario. Lo que ves a simple vista no es duro, pero al ver la consecución de escenas cotidianas en las que se ve a la protagonista, poco a poco se percibe a la perfección cómo se siente y lo que está pasando por su cabeza. El gran uso del color y de la luz ayuda mucho a acentuar esa sensación. Nora Navas está fantástica, de las grandes actrices españolas de la última década y siempre infravalorada.

  In a tragedy, when one is reduced to a mere fragment of themselves, often comes the awareness of inner powers and jewels. The realizations come to her gradually, yet with steadfastness and conviction. Bartering away her wedding ring in exchange for cab fare is only the beginning.   Mar Coll es independiente en sus discursos. Mola. Arriesga. Película sobre las huidas. Sobre que un punto de inflexión fortuito (un accidente) puede hacer que quieras cambiarlo todo. Te hace darte cuenta de cosas.
