Venkat Prabhu & boys return with another fun ride.. VP chooses a dark comedy road thriller, and smartly sprinkles the thrilling narrative with just the right dose of comedy and enjoyable treatment choices. For a movie mostly happening at night, the cinematography and editing are quite effective. The album and BGM by Yuvan Shankar Raja is just kickass. You get fun performances all around from VPs usual suspects. Leaving aside a few hiccups and horrible climax reasoning, it is one solidly entertaining fun watch.

Venkat Prabhu for me has rarely failed and even in his mediocre movies fills it up with elements making the 150 minutes a very enjoyable affair.
So excited to see my favorite hero team up with my favorite director :)
I have very fond memories of saroja from 2008. From a time when along with my friends from my hostel, we would take a bus to gandhipuram, walk half a mile to senthil kumaran, have a wonderful 3 hours together, find a good meal to eat and come back to our college hostel having made great memories together.
The movie definitely had a big impact on us, pushing us to make a music video of kodana Kodi in our hostel room and me taking the roll of sampath.
Looking forward to the next week revisiting his classics :)
A different film, both in VP's filmography and kollywood. A road thriller filled with fun bromance and typical VP humor. Loved the gang and the whole escape sequence from midway. As usual U1 rocked with his catchy songs and kickass score. Mahn just cooked. Guess he forgot he's the cook in GOAT :)

Everybody acted very well in the film. The songs and BGM in the film are so good.
