The first time I saw Seth, I sent a text to my brothers demanding they drop everything and watch it immediately. My brother Shaun happened to be hanging out with his future brother-in-the-law Jared at the time - sort of a getting-to-know-one-another meetup - and at my insistence, threw the short on hoping to enjoy a light and agreeable reprieve from their awkward hang.
Things did not go well. In fact, they went about as badly as they could’ve gone. Now, I get that this short may not be everyone’s cup of corn, but this cat was so deeply offended by the film (apparently he’s a pretty hardcore Mormon, something the less fanatical might refer to as a “Peter Priesthood”) he…
I wonder how it must feel for every filmmaker in the history of filmmaking to know they will never accomplish this level of filmography
