These movies are fucking nuts!! This was some insane fucked up shit! Like if these movies are teaching me things about life in the Middle East then the biggest thing is do not mess with Islamic people because they will curse your entire bloodline and your pets and everyone you ever looked at and the chickens across the street too!

Can't say it's (directly) related with the original, though it certainly works around the same theme(s) and concept. It seemed/felt like a different tale (and again, based on real life events?) around the same (folk)lore.
Note: I (hopefully) edited the synopsis according to imdb, which feels somewhat more "reasonable" ^_^
The plot is... well, wicked lol Dark-ish and thorough :P It might (or should) beg for some latitude but the "delivery" is well worth it ^_^
There's certainly some (considerable) beauty through the female cast on this one. I enjoyed Seyda Terzioglu as the lead.

A young happy couple with a young son happy lives and marriage deteriorate after the death of their son. Wife finds out that a family member has casted a spell on her family and she is determined to find out who and why.
Different story with the use of Black Magic but this 2nd film having a story with a thicker more interesting plot.
The horrifying scenes paired with the creepy score made for some startling moments.
Another shocking end twist although, predictable but still holds the shock value.

Whoa, again, the synopsis is way off on this, like it was for the first one.
Adnan and Hicran lose their two year old son, Birol, to what most people would consider a freak accident. Adnan and Hicran do believe that at first, although, Adnan blames Hicran for Birol's death, thinking she's a bad mother. He then shuns her. Soon, she starts to be terrified by nightmares and visions of shadowy women wearing black, also by a woman asking Hicran to give her her son.
Hicran consults a cleric at the behest of a friend and finds out she's been had a curse spell cast on her, the 41 stitches curse. She later finds out that this curse was cast…

Kind of shocking, but this was a big move forward from the first one. Still pretty zany and melodramatic, but the story has some punch to it, there are plenty of twists, and everything just feels like it clicks together better. I was worried it was going to be a lot more of the same going through this series, but this actually gives me some hope for the further sequels.

Siccin serisi, Dabbe'nin yanında d harfi bile olamaz, kesinlikle. Çünkü en gerçekçi filminde bile en saçma gereksizlikler bulunduran bir yapım. Yine de 2. yapım, diğerlerine göre daha gerçekçi olsa da gram korku ve gerilim ögesi barındırmıyor. Tek üzücülük, gerçek olması filan olabilir. Feci mantık hataları barındırıyor. Onun dışında, son 10 dakikası haricinde bir şey sunmuyor. Ki ilk izlediğimde de, 2. izleyişimde de bana ekstrem bir şok yaşatmadı. Açıkçası, Türk korku sinemasına göre bunlar basit şeyler artık. Onun dışında, Alper Mestçi'nin Siccin filmlerine bakarsanız, sırf annem gibi duygusal insanların kalbine dokunması için çocuklara acı çektiriyor. Filmde korku diye adlandırdığımız bu türde, çocuklara acı çektirerek değil, korku ögeleri kullanarak yapmak doğru olur. Her filmde de olmaz ki arkadaşım, bir filmde de farklı bir şey dene. Bunun dışında, çok da diyeceğim bir şey yok. Dabbe'den aldığım zevki alamadım.
