  A solid character drama with a good script and great performances. The script really only had one flaw, and it’s that it hinted at the culmination of everything way too well and way too early, and that made it predictable. But besides that it was written well, as are most scripts written by Marek Epstein, the writer, not the financier.

  However the film is carried by the actors, and what a great duo of leads this movie has! Lenka Vlasáková is consistently great and even in shit projects she does a solid job, and she’s even better in good projects such as this one. But of course, Jiřina Bohdalová. 87 years into her career and she’s still as good as…

  the big reveal felt a little too obvious right from the beginning as the story didnt offer other possible interesting plot points. strach’s storytelling and direction often seem too one dimensional to me and this is not an exception. however jirinka bohdalova slayed so hard not to get praise, she is able to pull anyone through the film no matter how flat it feels.

  An enjoyable film for a boring evening.
  I wouldn’t ssay it is great especially because of the screenplay which is kinda horrible. But Bohdalová is pretty fun to watch because she still is a pretty good actress. The other ones. Yeah not that great.
  But Bohdalová carries it.
  Also the music is kinda horrible.
  Well you won’t regret watching this but you will also forget about it in about a week.
