It's funny, as soon as I started this, I realized that I had seen it, but in the setting of my high school French class towards the end of the semester (we also watched Amélie and The Artist during senior year) And to be honest, a high school teacher putting a movie on for its 'educational' value is the surest way to have your students not care about what's happening. Pretty sure I was checked out for the year. Removed from that, The Chorus is quite a sweet and enjoyable story, although I certainly understand why it's a 'French Class' staple.
