"If you know what is most important to you, you will make the right decision. It's up to you and nobody else."
Women back then had little to no choice in their life. They cannot make decisions because it's not up to them, but up to what the society assigned them to do. Bearers of babies, preferably boys. When the time comes when they have the courage to choose their own happiness over the life they have, suddenly they had to rethink and step back because they know choosing either will still cause them pain. And when you think of it, why choose one when they can choose both? But then again, women of the past (even some of the present) can't have it all. They only had to choose one.
i wish it was that easy
my doomed by the narrative lesbians. they never stopped loving each other, im crying. this should've been a feature film.
Love is not easy for the same gender. It's hard for them to live together in a lifetime. This movie is beautifull and tragic at the same time because we can see both of the girls are like each other till they are separated by death but they can't live together because of society's rejection😭
sweet, soft, tender, touchy... have I used enough synonyms to describe this short masterpiece?
WHO’S CUTTING ONIONS
If you now what most important to you, you will make the right decision. It's up to you , and nobody else.
there is a feeling that you really are not deciding what you need in life right now. very often I feel that I am like a written script that must perform a certain series of tasks and nothing more, but sometimes I feel that many moments in my life depend only on me and I don’t know whether this is good or bad. because I don’t even understand what I feel at this moment. I very often regret many decisions that were made a long time ago and now they may have turned my life 360 degrees and I still don’t realize whether this is good or bad. maybe I should forget about it and just exist.
you can live freely.
meu deus como eu sou VAZIA, VULGAR E INFELIZ
the right person wrong time trope in 24 minutes
what's up with the gays leaving each other at the train stations?! sigh...
ps i love how their story continued over time even if none of us has seen it, we all know, they never stopped loving each other.
รักนั้นแค่ผ่านเข้ามา แล้วก็จากไป ไม่ว่าจะเลือกทางไหน สุดท้ายก็คงเจ็บเหมือนเดิม
this shattered my heart
I watched this gem at a USC DGA screening in 2012 and thankfully, it inspired me to not drop out of film school. One of my all-time favorite shorts!
