Hard watching a film knowing they won't solve their problems at the end. And when you give the main character terminal cancer you very much telegraph the ending. Still as a Sci-fi film it was entertaining enough. Though I have no idea why Djimon Hounsou was in this. An actor of his caliber showing up for maybe 5 minutes? I hope they promised him more in a sequel.

Not really sure the point of this movie. I was less understanding of why Adam Driver would do this. Did he owe someone something?
On the surface it's not a terrible movie. 65 million years ago another civilization ends up on Earth and needs to escape before the asteroid that kills the dinosaurs kills them.
What's weird is that 65 million years ago on another planet somewhere, I believe, in the Milky Way, life evolved *exactly* in the same way…
