I was about to smile, only to be hit by a brief interject of the first scene with Zsófia and loud electronic music to re-realize that this is one of the most heartbreaking stories about the struggles of immigration. “It’s not the journey, it’s the destination” might be one of the saddest quotes in the history of film because of the context it’s said on.
