Watching this, I am reminded of the Hollywood Godzilla movies coming out today and how this is just that but of its time. But there’s also a specific rush and energy in it that I haven’t found since Twilight that is no where to be found in those movies today. I’m not sure if there is ever a right place or time for a movie like this, but (i’m sorry) they just are not made like this anymore.
i think that this might have been the perfect film to watch considering my circumstances at the moment.
