Now I think Ryan Gosling has a really good performance, nowhere near his best though and I think it demonstrates the theme of loneliness as well but even though it has a fairly short runtime I think the movie overstays it’s welcome quite a bit, no other characters really grabbed my attention more than Lars and it’s a weird mix for me, there’s some scenes that i really liked and then some scenes that were just unnecessary so overall for this film I think it’s pretty mid.

Actually really surprised me
There’s only a few Netflix films that i end up enjoying and this was one of the few, Mila Kunis gave a great performance but i want to give Chiara Aurelia a mention she did great as well if not better than Mila Kunis tbh, i feel like it does drag on a bit but it was still a decent also another thing Chiara Aurelia (she’s a celebrity crush)

I don’t ever think my top 2 movies will ever change this being n.2, I love it so much more on every single rewatch, i truly believe it’s one of the greatest movies of all time, Chiron and Kevin have one of the best relationships shown on film and every dynamic is wonderful, for example Chiron/Juan, Chiron/Teresa, Chiron/Kevin etc, etc.
Honestly this film should be a 10 to everybody, anyone who has this as a 8.5 or below honestly deserve…
