  Pro: Everything from the convincing relationships to the mind-boggling dream sequences is fantastic. It's a pure and intense story. Certainly a recommendation.

  Con: A good love story consists of two stories, not one. Apart from a childhood bond, it seemed like the two had nothing going for them. They should really have given Latika more/a personality.

  Pro: The intercutting between the past and present plot is very effective. The film did not shy away from depicting the characters' nitty-gritty surroundings. The credits were a pleasant surprise.
