Rise of the Planet of the Apes 2011
Me and my gf have just started re watching the planet of the apes franchise, as the new film is coming out in May. I totally forgot how emotional this film is! By the end of the film you end up hating humans and supporting the monkeys all the way. So much that I’ve decided to move to the jungle, this will be my last letterboxed. Goodbye modern world, hello primates.

Requiem for a Dream 2000
This was a visually satisfying film, with a (from what I’d imagine) realistic insight of what crack addiction is like. I was left slightly traumatised by the story in the end, with lots of scenes where I couldn’t watch due to being too graphic or just vile. Not in a scary way, just too real. I wish I could say I’d recommend to a friend, but I don’t think I’d ever want to watch it again, I’d probs cry… like…

Went to the cinema to see this anticipated sequel and was blown away! I’m one to hate how every film that comes out these days is 3+ hours long, but this film flew by. I was in the edge of my seat the whole time. Was fun to see Austin Butler get killed! (Would be improved if included Ryan gosling in the cast)
