I’ve heard a lot of people say this was better than the first two films, but I don’t see it. Parts of the plot seemed too rushed in the beginning, and the character dialogue outside of the CGI characters and Jim Carrey felt odd. Beyond that, I found the film enjoyable. I didn’t grow up with Sonic games like most fans of these films, but I still felt the hype around seeing Shadow on screen, the insane fight in the 3rd act, and the post credit scene.

Fantastic Planet 1973
It’s beyond strange, which I’m not usually a fan of. However, the art work is amazing, and the world building is impressive. I also liked how they made the alien culture so much more different and strange than other movies do, like the creators really disconnected from what we know as humans and just completely generated all new concepts and ideas to make a unique culture for the Draags.

The Last Voyage of the Demeter 2023
Not going to say this a master class film. The story was predictable, and it the beginning ruins the suspense for the rest of the film. That being said, it was still visual appealing, and Dracula’s more animalistic look was a nice change from what I normally think of the character.
