    ★★★★½

I've now seen Paterson twice.  Once in the theater and once at home.  I'm in love with the world that Jim Jarmusch creates.  It all feels--right.

It's an inspiring film about the ordinary.  It magnifies the creativity that we all have inside.  It is quiet, unassuming, and magical.  Thank you for this fictional world Jim.  It will always be one that I escape to from time to time.

Beautiful. Moving. A tribute to cinema. Why are humans so evil and complicated?

Visually beautiful and the design of the film felt fresh. The film explores some interesting concepts such as class, however, it lacks a strong emotional core. I didn’t feel as connected to the characters as I should have considering the length of the film. Technically, this is a really good film with a beautiful score but it just falls a little flat as a cohesive film.

Watched this amazing film for a second time today and it only gets better with subsequent viewings.  I can't think of a film that is so well acted by so many actors.  The blocking and cinematography were brilliant considering the confined space of a jury room.  This is one of the best films ever made!

I absolutely loved Sicario! It was tense throughout, skillfully crafted along with having one of the best scores of the year. The acting in this film was amazing; specifically the performance by Benicio Del Toro. Roger Deakins does it again with shots that present the U.S. Southwest and Juarez (actually shot in Mexico City) beautifully from both the ground and sky. Denis Villeneuve directs his most complete film to date and has improved with each film directed.
