  I love the aesthetic sm in this. Also just the film in general. The plot is sooo goood! And I love the character development we see with Dani throughout film (her slowly developing into madness). I also love the shots and camerawork as well. But I feel like this film would be even better if it was set in the 70s or 60s because of all the active cults around at that time. (Love the whole “good for her” plot of the film was well)

  I just wanna start this up by saying that the acting in this is astonishing (especially Kathy Bates as Annie)! She definitely deserved that Oscar. Another thing that I love is the set design. Even though the house feels cozy and warm, there is still darkness there as well and I love that so much. I think it’s very different from other horror films I’ve seen (that I can remember). One of the best films oat (imo)!
