this movie is awesome. director guerdon trueblood's only film is a mean and nasty little film laced with gallows humor throughout. from the beginning you know this is a special piece of exploitation sleaze. but it's more than that with the cast, cinematography and music. plus a smart script. it makes you wonder what another trueblood film would of been like. if you're a fan of 70's exploitation, you need to see this. remember though, take it easy, baby. you're just bein' kidnapped.

an otherworldly and trippy texas grown b&w short from 1980 directed by david boone and screened by jonathan demme in '81. the 30 minute short combines 50's sci-fi and modern times with an off-kilter mix of early tobe hooper and damon packard along with a dash of shinya tsukamoto in the realm of the church of the subgenious. also, the soundtrack is a wild trip in itself. it's awesome. seek it out but beware...the invasion of the aluminum people.
