Feels like a forgotten note in the Pixar lineage but it really almost has it all, a calculating and intimidating villain who makes clever decisions, the classic film trope of a group of lovable rejects, and plenty of silly lines. The one weakness is I sort of sympathise with everyone at the start, Flick is pretty annoying.
Also loads of refs here that you would have missed as a child, never really thought that Americans said BYOB just always struck me as a British thing.
