  Of course, Mom thinks I’m uncapable of love, that is loving her. Because her idea of love is the total sacrificial act. My mother did it for her mother, and in turn expects it from us. I am unwilling to see that as love so I don’t offer it. She’s unwilling to see anything else as love so she doesn’t accept what I do offer.
