I had to look away at times. What a difficult but impactful watch.
This is what film is supposed to be.
That being said, how do you end a film like this? No ending would ever quite suffice and this one didn't quite level up to the brilliance of the rest of the film.

EXT. CASTLE - DAY
The villagers all gather behind Snow White as she stands tall.
Across the bridge, the evil queen sneers at her.
EVIL QUEEN:
Kill her. Let them watch.
The crowd gasps.
The queen's knight moves towards Snow. With each step the tension builds.
Snow looks terrified and the Evil Queen watches on proudly.
