From the first long courtroom overview shot to the intriguing ending, this film by Pascal Plante grabbed my full attention and it didn’t let go. The film follows Kelly-Anne, a multi-talented fashion model, online poker player, hacker and computer programmer who makes a lot of (crypto) money by intelligently combining all of her skills. Her character, which is slowly but increasingly shown in more detail, might be one of the most interesting I’ve seen in a recent film.

The film starts off rather slowly to establish how successful Lydia Tár’s career as an orchestra conductor is and how she manages to keep up with her busy schedule with the help of, among others, her personal assistant Francesca and her life partner and ‘musical conscience’ Sharon. They raise a young daughter together.
