The Beekeeper 2024
This shit movie does not deserve a real review. I can’t believe Jason Statham signed off on this. The dialogue made me laugh with how bad it was. Not to mention the awful editing pace and genuinely some characters are pretty much useless to the movie. If you want to watch a film that you can make fun of though, this one’s for you.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire 2019
This movie made me realize how much I value dialogue. The writing is on a whole other level. Too many movies I watch these days make me cringe (looking at you Beekeeper), so it was immensely gratifying to be respected as the audience. Pride & Prejudice 2005
This story really is ahead of it’s time. I’ve watched other versions of this and Kiera Knightly and Matthew McFadden are absolutely the most captivating as Elizabeth and Darcy BY FAR. They bring their characters to life and their insane chemistry just pulls you in. Not to mention the stunning cinematography, the colours are so soft and warm and romantic! It’s just such a pleasure to look at.
This film is really up there with my favourite romance films, and I highly recommend the watch! I swear these guys invented the enemies to lovers trope.
