As someone who has stalked Brady Corbet's directing career since Childhood of a Leader, I have been anticipating The Brutalist for roughly four years. This has been a project that I would consistently check on IMDb and watch the page get updated, which continued to heighten my expectations. Were they met? I don't know. I really don't know how I feel about this film. I appreciate it for what it is but how it made me feel is all over the place. So many concepts were explored in this film it's hard to put them all together. Definitely need a rewatch, maybe two.
