This film covered all bases - it was romantic, wholesome and comedic, with a dash of gore and some political elements.
Watching Mickey 17 vs Mickey 18 was like watching the two sides of myself have it out and the final act of sacrifice 🥹 adorable.
Also shout out to Naomi Ackie she’s been killing it lately and I love to see her playing such huge roles in arguably some of the best films of the last couple of years.

I didn’t have the highest of expectations for this film, so I was pleasantly surprised when I actually watched it - the monkey was actually scary!
Extra points because I loved the way this film was shot (minus some of the gory scenes) .
My love for this film comes from its likeness to one of my favourite books ‘The Cherry Robbers’. While I do favour the book over this film, I love this more modern adaption of a mysterious tale of sisters who lose their lives in bizarre circumstances. I will be rewatching this soon.
I had to let this film marinate in my mind for a short while before I reviewed it, but it’s time.
I thoroughly enjoyed this film, and in hindsight I’ve only come to appreciate it more.
Harris Dickinson perfectly embodied his character, and watching it I completely understand their attraction. His quirkiness mixed with his overconfidence made me almost have a crush on him!
As for Nicole Kidman - outstanding as ever. She nailed the ‘high flying married woman battling…
