All Quiet on the Western Front 2022
This film highlights the brutality of war, it shows just how horrific it really is. Whenever I have watched a film about one of the world wars before this I never really thought of the Germans, I only saw them as something the allies had to defeat. However this film humanises them, it shows how they really didn’t want to be there, how they didn’t want to kill. This is a truly sad film. It is executed professionally, it doesn’t glamorise war at all. It shows how brutal and inhumane it really is.
