shallow and uninteresting. this film is supposedly all about intense desire and love and the lengths we will go to to fulfil those desires but it doesn’t offer an explanation for why these characters love these people, what they offer, or why they’d do those things for them. we don’t understand or know their relationship in any real way, it’s all entirely surface level. throwing in random sexual scenes that offer nothing and do not further the plot at all…
