The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
This film was amazing, I’ve played mario games ever since i got super mario 64 on the ds in like 2008… The references to the games in this film were done so so well and you could tell what they were going for exactly. Everyone had alot of issues with the voice actors like chris pratt voicing mario but honestly i forgot it was chris so quick. Honestly might watch this again at some point.

Honestly personally i didn’t understand the film too much, i get whats its trying to convey but that can be lost sometimes imo. However paul mescal is brilliant and Frankie Corio portrays child Sophie so well considering her age. Some very beautiful and unconventional shots used too. But i can see why its so highly regarded, i do get brain-rot about this films version of under pressure

Ive never really been a big Tom Hardy guy but this film kinda changed that for me. Portraying twin brothers and making them so different we believe its a different person is so impressive. So much character work had to go into this film and it pays off, some really great scenes in it
