  the way that this movie is quiet, doesn't need sound, makes it infinitely more heartbreaking. because sometimes love is quiet. sometimes love is shared thoughts and unspoken words, glances across the room and read lips. sometimes it's soft kisses that never last forever and hugs that do. sometimes love is tragedy, and no tragedy is louder than the sound of a love left silent.

  the main narrative (sejin’s attempt to get an abortion) feels less central to the movie than the relationships between the characters, but any character building potential ultimately gets dropped as the movie jumps from one graphic scene to the next. very much a style over substance kind of film

  it’s been very exciting watching her grow as an actress, this may be my favorite role of hers so far
