  This a film that will stick with me for a long time. Schrader is at his best in this poignant meditation of faith in a time of existential crisis.

  An entertaining but painfully by the numbers religious horror. Outside of a few neat concepts and Russel Crowe's charming performance, The Pope's Exorcist relies too heavily on the beaten to death tropes of its genre predecessor The Exorcist to create anything unique out of its interesting premise and setting. Give it a watch if you're into hot priests I guess
