  I saw someone say this is more worth the watch when you see it as an insight to Japanese culture and 100% thought that thru those longggggg scenes in the third act 😭 had to leave by the 4th act, will need to finish at some point. Beautiful in every way

  I loved this so much more than I expected. Crazy as fuck to see such a representation of what it was like being a teenager in the late 2000s. The trials and failures and lack of support that create scars in the self. The love and friendship and genuine thrill of finding a hobby you love. The insatiable thirst for knowledge and wanting to belong. The siblings fights / heart wrenching goodbyes. The angry, shameful feelings towards mom but not towards grandma. So many first times. This movie had it all 😭💘
