i love this movie so much. miyazaki is so talented at portraying the world through a child’s eye. i remember being little and wanting so much to be immersed in my play: to have the white walls of my room transport me into another world and to be placed in something as grand as my imagination. ponyo satiates that desire of my childhood.

this movie was so heart warming! a story about a self prophecy to create the greatest bowl of ramen in the city, love, and community. the side stories were a delight to watch and in my opinion, describes what a wonderful meal comprises of. nacho libre vibes all the way through

How to Be Single 2016
i revisited this movie last night and i’m so glad i did. while i’m happily in a relationship (certified lovergirl right here), the film brought me back home to myself. it reminded me of my uniqueness, dreams, aspirations, and desires for this life. the script and storyline does a phenomenal job bringing things into full circle and the actresses do a wonderful job bring this story to life! i highlyyyyy recommend this to any individual feeling lonely or just need a lighthearted movie to laugh at 💞
