this is the type of movie i'd usually love but it just didn't do it for me. this movie barely does anything. not enough emotional connection establishment and too much vibe building. cared more for sylvie and joan than i did for bob. as much as i love and support timothee i really believe that this isn't his "performance of lifetime" role yet and when he wins the oscar for something else in the future, it'll be even sweeter.
if i were sylvie i'd have the biggest crashout the 1960s would ever see.
