Captures in equal parts the feeling of being alone in the dark as a child, making monsters out of every shadow - and the nonsensical terror of a fever dream.
All the criticisms I see that there is “no plot” or “long shots of nothing” are exactly right, but it leaves all the room for you to fill the space with your own fears/projections/theories. Not for the subway surfers/split screen crowd and that’s ok.
Could stand to be 15-20 min shorter but I still had a really good time with this deeply uncomfortable movie.
