I'm sure this has been pointed out before, but the only evidence ever given that the meteor strike was a deliberate attack comes from the propaganda reels. We only ever see the bugs being tortured in labs or defending their homes from invaders. If you miss the satire of this, it's because you bought into deliberately absurd fascist propaganda.

Wonder Woman 1984 2020
Absolutely bafflingly awful. 40 minutes too long with some terrible dialogue and an extremely confusing and contrived plot that brings up some pretty serious questions about bodily autonomy and consent that the movie never even attempts to address.
Some highlights include:
-British police rounding up the Irish.
-Wonder Woman saving four Arab children from being killed by security forces while playing football, a war crime that Gal Gadot endorses in real life.
