this is what this movie felt like

fucking obnoxious and stupid movie about obnoxious, stupid, dramatic, and, quite honestly, a lot of stupid and trivial teenage problems.

but it sums up exactly how it feels. from every annoyingly irrational choice to how precisely aware archie is to them. its a battle but its only so far.

i'd risk it and say that if you can't see exactly why its "self-serving", "incel"-like, and "cringe", it's willful. the point is there and screaming.

horribly sexist, white liberal feminism “documentary” that adds little to no value to the existing bodies of feminist media. contradictory and haphazardly thrown together to bring up women like hilary clinton and sarah palin who do nothing for the feminist movement beyond showing that white women can be just as evil and corrupted in politics as white men. spends more time showing white men and their “ground-breaking” realization that sexism hurts them, too, then the extremely real, unique violence and oppression that women who do not fit the status quo experience daily.
