  Have given it a five because it deserves more then a 4.5, but still feel it lack some of the intimacy and personality of characters that made me adore and dread the impending tragedy on arrakis. Only a minor thing - an epic worthy of Herbert cementing denis as a master of his craft

  Good story but I can't help but think that Spielberg's directing style doesn't suit what should be a grittier and more personal story in the vein of All the Presidents Men, along with some more uneven performances from usually master actors.
