The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 2011
I love Fincher. I love this movie. I rewatched it recently with my boyfriend, and I love my boyfriend.
Only complaint: did they really need to have s*x? Was that necessary? Also showing a r*pe scene at length but cutting out a lesbian s*x scene was kind of a weird decision. Did it have to have a love story sub-plot? Still waiting for the next one nonetheless and it BETTER have a Reznor x Ross score or I’m gonna FLIP.

I cannot even describe exactly why or how this became my favourite movie. This may be Cage’s best role ever. The cinematography and the premise are spectacular. The whole story world is delightfully delusional.
If you’ve ever thought someone hated you for no reason, this movie was made for you.

Civil War 2024
Every single moment of this film was pure frustration. The main highlight of my experience was being able to bi*ch about every second. A close second was Kirsten Dunst, who inexplicably phoned it in at the beginning of the third act. The world was left unexplained and unpopulated. It was not cautionary or provocative, only underdeveloped and erratic.
