  There was no way I was gonna give the Laura Palmer Beatles movie less than four stars. I recognize a movie about this period of the Beatles career is not the kind of biopic most people would want - but I admire that they chose to focus on a specific (less talked about) period instead of trying to cover too much. They may not all look like the Beatles, but the performances are solid and the 90s supergroup soundtrack is pretty great. Drags a little, but I don’t think anything involving the Beatles can really bore me.

  I have two theories on why the ending of this movie left off where it did:
  1. The director/writer saw Inception and became obsessed with ambiguous endings.
  2. They just ran out of money in the middle of filming and decided they didn't need to film an ending.
