  Silliness is often overlooked and films can be critiqued and shit on for being silly. This was the silliest film I have ever seen, in the best possible way. And the star of the movie DID IT ALL HIMSELF IN AFTER EFFECTS.

  10/10 I don’t think I have ever laughed this often this hard at a film before. 

  I too would do anything to watch babe skin a beaver in a romantic setting.

  Considering it was made in 1933 the special effects were amazing. King Kong looked like a sexual predator here and there but the amount of effort on the sets, the animation and the props (of giant monsters for the actors to react with in real time) were amazing.
